The mass enrollment Strategy for the National Security Information System (National ID project)

The general public is hereby invited to the first ever Immigration Soccer tournament to be held on 12th October 2012 at Nakasero Primary School sports field behind Fairway Hotel on Mackinnon road. The event will commence at 2:00PM. Games will include :
- football match between DCIC Vs Immigrant community in Uganda.
- Directorates Vs Departments under the ministry of internal affairs.
- Female Staff Vs Male Staff.
- 100m x 4 relay.
- Tug of war.

The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control will host a public Information exhibition on Friday 5th October 2012. The exhibition is part of the Directorate activities to commemorate the national Golden Jubilee. The Honorable Minister for Internal Affairs will use the occasion to officially officially launch the Uganda Immigration website.The website is intended to increase public access to Immigration services through provision of information, education and communication.
The information exhibition will run from 8:00am to 5:00pm at the passports office quadrangle.
